Books that Inspire Kids to
Play Backyard Games.

Project Play® is a movement inspiring children to play traditional backyard games. In the age of technology, it has never been more important to help children hone their social and creative skills with play. The books tell stories of fun and imagination, that can be played out in backyards everywhere. 

 

The five-book series shows the Edgebrook kids playing games outside with their neighborhood friends. The underlying theme is to inspire children to read the story, and then get out and play these classic backyard games. The books focus on children playing games like pick-up baseball, kick the can or follow the leader with their friends. The books introduce them to the games ​while spreading the message about the importance of unstructured, outdoor play.
